County Board extends offer to county administrator candidate

The Sibley County Board of Commissioners, during its regular meeting on Tuesday morning, Feb. 24, voted 3-2 to extend an offer of employment for the position of Sibley County administrator to Roxy Traxler.
Traxler is currently the county administrator in Mille Lacs County. County Commissioners Joy Cohrs, Bill Pinske and Jim Swanson voted in favor of offering the job to Traxler while County Commissioners Bobbie Harder and Gary Kruggel voted against.
If a successful contract cannot be made with Traxler, the Board will extend the offer to Curt Kephart. He is currently the county administrator in Iowa County, Wisconsin. David Unmacht of Springsted, Inc. will negotiate the contract with Traxler.
