The Green Isle Irish baseball team recorded two victories and captured the South Division championship of the Crow River Valley Baseball League last weekend.

The Irish captured the league title with an 18-3 record overall.

Visiting Green Isle defeated  Norwood 14-4 in eight innings during the first game of a best of three game league playoff series.
