The Green Isle City Council, during a recent regular meeting, was informed that the Cory Danielson family would like the City of Green Isle to annex its 9.9 acres just east of town.

City Attorney Ross Arneson said the primary issue would center around the city utilities and who would pay for this hook up.
Mayor Dale ZumBerge said the sewer ends at the Green Isle Baseball Park and the water is capped just south of Gloria Avenue across Highway 25.

After much discussion, the Green Isle City Council unanimously approved a motion to agree to the annexation provided that the Danielson family pay for and hook up the water and sewer within two years.
