Krentz signs letter of intent to play volleyball at MSU

Senior Megan Krentz, a member of the Sibley East varsity girls volleyball team, signed a letter of intent to play volleyball at Minnesota State University, Mankato, next season.


The signing occurred at the senior high school in Arlington on Friday afternoon, Nov. 13. Sibley East head coach Chip Wolverton, Sibley East Athletic Director Randy Walsh and Sibley East Senior High Principal Tim Shellhammer and her family were in attendance.


Krentz, who was a four-year letterwinner, concluded the regular season with 298 kills and 82 blocks. She also contributed 168 digs and had 96 percent serving with 28 aces. She currently ranks third in both career kills and blocks at Sibley East.


She is the daughter of Myron and Mary Krentz, Henderson.
