Morris Van Duynhoven, age 62, of Chaska, died at the Hwy 212 Medical Center in Chaska on Monday, Oct. 27.
A memorial service will be held at the Bertas Funeral Home, 200 West Third Street, Chaska, at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 1. 
Visitation will be held at the funeral home and start at 9 a.m. 
Father Fernando Ortega from Guardian Angels Catholic Church will be celebrating Morris’s life.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to Smart Link at 1615 Weston Court, Shakopee, MN 55379.
Morris was born to John and Marie (Cornelissen) Van Duynhoven in Arlington on Dec. 8, 1951. He was one of six children. Morris graduated from the Arlington-Green Isle High School in 1970.
On June 6, 1980, he married Patricia Kloth in Norwood.
Morris served in the US Army from 1971-1974. He enjoyed playing cards, gardening, fishing and spending time at the cabin.  He worked for over 25 years in the sanitation/recycling industry.  Morris loved spending time with his loving companion, Tiffany (his dog), friends and most of all he treasured time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Pat of 34 years; foster son, Kevin DeMarce of Chicago; granddaughters, Tayla and Cregyn DeMarce; siblings, Wilbert (Debbie) of Alabama, Anna (Boda) Swoboda of Little Falls, Peter (Mary) of Mankato, Carolyn (Craig) Wilberts of Fergus Falls; sisters-in-law, Kathy (Steve) Erpenbach of Victoria, Nancy (Brad) Bruers of Victoria; mother-in-law, Elda Taylor of Victoria; step sisters-in-law and husbands; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death was his parents, John and Marie; sister, Mary Cecelia Van Duynhoven; and father-in-law, Clifford Kloth.
Funeral arrangements are with the Bertas Funeral Home of Chaska, MN.
