Patrick L. Liebl, age 68, of Arlington, died suddenly in a pedestrian accident in South Bend, Ind., on Monday, April 6.
Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Arlington at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 11.
Visitation was held at the Kolden Funeral Home in Arlington from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, April 10. A Knights of Columbus rosary began at 8 p.m. Friday, April 10. The visitation continued at the Kolden Funeral Home from 8 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Saturday, April 11.
Patrick Lorenz Liebl was born to  George F. and Rosalia (Dauer) Liebl in New Ulm on Sept. 10, 1946. On Nov. 6, 1968, he married Judith Ann Kloeckl at St. John’s Catholic Church in Searles. Pat was employed as the maintenance engineer at the Independent School District #2310 for 34 1/2 years. He also served as a part-time police officer from 1971 to 1980. He was Cub Master for Cub Scouts and an Assistant Scoutmaster for Boy Scouts as well as volunteering for the Food Shelf. He was also very active and dedicated as a member of the Arlington Lions Club and Knights of Columbus.
Pat is survived by his wife of 46 years, Judy Liebl, of Arlington; daughter, Pamela Roth of Arlington; son and daughter-in-law, Patrick and Tanya Liebl of Big Lake; seven grandchildren; sisters, Evelyn (Clarence) Schroedl of Fairfax, Agnes (Delford) Kiecker of Fairfax and Catherine (Darrel) Graff of Lamberton; brother, Gerald (Diane) Liebl of New Ulm; sisters-in-law, Marge Liebl of Lakeville and Connie Kloeckl of Hanska; brother-in-law, Patrick (Joy) Kloeckl of New Ulm; and many nieces and nephews.  
Pat is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ralph Liebl; and brothers-in-law, Charles Lieske and Randal Kloeckl.
