The Sibley County Board, during its regular meeting on Tuesday morning, April 14, decided to look at County State Aid Highways (CSAH) 4 and 10 for themselves before making a decision on how the highways should be repaired.  The areas in need of repair are six miles of CSAH 4 from Trunk Highway 19 to the north county line and three miles of CSAH 10 from CSAH 4 to CSAH 26.

Public Works Director Tim Becker presented three options for repair:  3 inch overlays, cold in-place recycling (CIR) or stabilized full-depth reclamation (SFDR).  SFDR would be the most expensive option at $2.78 million for CSAH 4 and $1.43 million for CSAH 10, but would also last the longest at 25-28 years.
