The Sibley East varsity boys baseball team closed out its regular season with a sweep over Minnesota River Conference champion Belle Plaine on Friday afternoon, May 15.

The Wolverines conclude the regular season with a 7-7 mark in the MRC and a 10-9 record overall.
Sibley East will face Holy Family Catholic in Victoria during the opening round of the Section 2 Sub-Section North Baseball Tournament at 5 p.m. Saturday, May 22.

If the Wolverines defeat Holy Family Catholic, they will face the winner of Jordan and Belle Plaine on the road at 5 p.m. Tuesday, May 26.
