Trailblazer Transit had a financially sound fiscal year 2015, the joint powers board heard on Thursday morning, April 21
Executive Director Gary Ludwig reviewed the 2015 fourth-quarter report, noting that for the first time in its history, “we have excess operating revenue.”

Ludwig did note that part of the reason for the success was that Trailblazer did not run the full schedule it had expected as it launched service within Wright County.

Trailblazer had a total budget of $4.17 million for 2015, and only expended 79.9 percent of that, or $3.33 million.
