The Sibley County Board, during its regular meeting on Tuesday morning, April 26, approved changes to the county expense reimbursement, travel and county vehicle policy.  

All travel related claims will now be added to the employees’ paychecks and they will no longer have to wait until the end of the month to submit claims.  

Breakfast will no longer be reimbursed, but employees will be reimbursed up to $15 for lunch and $15 for dinner when they are out of the county. They will no longer have to provide receipts. Mileage will be reimbursed at the current IRS rate and employees are encouraged to take county vehicles instead of using personal vehicles for trips.  The new policy will take effect July 2.
