Two residents have filed as candidates for two of the three open soil and water supervisor positions as the Sibley County filing period continued this past week.

Loren Evenson filed as a candidate in the third district for the soil and water supervisor position.

Incumbent Robert “Bob” Nielsen filed as a candidate in the fifth district for the soil and water supervisor position.
