Arlington City Council votes to support Highway 212 improvements

The Arlington City Council, during its regular meeting on Monday night, Dec. 5, voted 4-0 and adopted a resolution to support a fastlane grant application for Highway 212 improvements.


City Council members Michelle Battcher, Jim Heiland, James Jaszewski and Galen Wills all voted in favor of the motion.


City Council member Jennifer Nuesse had a prior commitment and was unable to attend the meeting.


The improvements would include the expansion of Highway 212 from a two-lane highway to a four-lane highway between the City of Cologne and Carver.
