The Sibley East varsity boys track team placed seventh during the Minnesota River Conference Boys Track and Field Meet at Tri-City United on Friday afternoon, May 15.

Jordan captured top honors with 175.5 team points. Belle Plaine placed second with 161.5 team points. Tri-City United (119), Le Sueur-Henderson (79), Mayer Lutheran (49.5), Norwood Young America (45), Sibley East (39) and Watertown-Mayer (31.5) rounded out the field.

Christian Figueroa earned all conference honors with a first place finish in the shot put event. Figueroa won the event with a heave of 45 feet.
