The Green Isle Irish baseball team posted two victories in three games during the past week.
The Irish, 22-4 overall, will  host Chaska at 7:30 p.m. Friday, July 18. Green Isle will travel to Plato at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 20.

The Green Isle Irish baseball team surrendered two runs in the top of the ninth inning and lost to visiting Winsted 6-5 on Wednesday night, July 9.
Chris Knoll led the offensive attack with a single and a double. Alex Twenge, Axel Twenge and Tom Juberian ripped one double apiece. Mac Zachow, Marcus Hahn, Zach Herd, Bjorn Hansen and Brian Scherschligt added one single each.
Chris Knoll hurled the next six innings and yielded two earned runs on three hits. He struck out four and walked six. 
Pat Gullickson worked the next inning and surrendered one earned run on two hits.
Zachow pitched the final two frames and suffered the mound loss. The right hander gave up one earned run on two hits. He also fanned three.
