As the legal and appeal process continues in the Kranz versus Sibley East Public Schools lawsuit, the legal fees continue to increase.

The Sibley East School Board, during a regular meeting on Tuesday night, Jan. 20, approved a motion to authorize and direct Knutson, Flynn and Deans to file a motion on behalf of the school district for attorneys’ fees, costs and disbursements in the district court election contest.

A hearing on that matter will be held in the Carver County District Court in Chaska at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, March 26.
