The Sibley East varsity wrestling team captured three medals during the Minnesota State Class A Individual Wrestling Tournament at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul on Friday, Feb. 27 and Saturday, Feb. 28.

Sophomore Tanner Pasvogel (113) and senior Jake Wentzlaff (182) both placed second while senior Austin Brockhoff (145) placed sixth.

Other state participants were senior Jason Meyer (132), junior Quinlan Riffenburg (160) and freshman Jaden Podratz (285)
