SE American Legion baseball team posts 2 wins at district tournament

The Sibley East American Legion baseball team captured two wins in three games during the Third District Division II Baseball Tournament at Cannon Falls last weekend.
Sibley East, 7-7 overall, will now face either Cannon Falls or Norwood at John Burch Park in Cannon Falls at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 27.

The Sibley East American Legion baseball team scored two runs in each of the final two innings and defeated Kenyon 4-1 during the opening round of the Third District Division II Baseball Tournament at Cannon Falls on Friday, July 18.
Brody Rodning went the distance on the hill and posted the mound victory. The southpaw yielded one run on three singles. He also struck out 13.
Rodning also helped his own cause with a single and a double. Andrew Grack collected two singles while Austin Brockhoff, Andrew Bullert, Travis Schmidt and Dylan Pauly added one single each.
