The Sibley East varsity girls track team placed fourth during a four-team meet at Belle Plaine on Tuesday afternoon, April 8.

Sibley East was originally scheduled to host the meet, but the field event areas in Arlington were not ready for competition due to standing snow.

Belle Plaine captured top honors with 165.5 team points while Jordan placed second with 50 team points. Le Sueur-Henderson placed third with 37 team points while Sibley East finished fourth with 16.5 team points.

The Lady Wolverines did not fare well as a team since many events went unfilled due to the band and choir trip.

The Sibley East 4 X 800 meter relay team placed second. The foursome included Alison Eibs, Abigail Butler, Ella Lundstrom and Tamara Ehrich.
