The Sibley East varsity boys baseball team, during its season opener, split two games in the Lake City Baseball Tournament on Saturday, April 12.

The Wolverines, 1-1 overall, will host Le Sueur-Henderson in Minnesota River Conference action at 5 p.m. Thursday, April 24.

The Sibley East varsity  boys baseball team managed only two hits and was edged by Lake City 1-0 during the opening round of the Lake City Baseball Tournament on Saturday, April 12.

Junior Lukas Bullert collected a single in the bottom of the first inning while senior Brody Rodning contributed a double in the bottom of the seventh inning.

Rodning started on the hill and held Lake City hitless in the first inning. The lefty also struck out two and walked two.
