Sibley East B-squad volleyball coach Stephanie Schultz was recently selected as the Section 2AA Assistant Coach of the Year.

Sibley East head coach Chip Wolverton made the announcement during the volleyball awards night event in Gaylord on Sunday evening, Nov. 15.

“Steph is a great assistant because she gets what goes into being a head coach, and helps in so many ways in practices, during games, and off court issues that arise,” said Wolverton.  “She gives me great feedback on our team. Most of the decisions we make are by consensus.  The players trust her opinion, and are comfortable turning to her for advice on volleyball or non-volleyball issues. “
