Sibley East School Board member Nathan Kranz raised some concerns before the beginning of the regular School Board meeting on Monday night, June 20.

Kranz stated that “one of the reasons people voted for me is because of transparency,” and questioned why some of his concerns were not on the agenda.  Kranz questioned the transgender issue.

School Board Chairperson Brian Brandt stated that they had agreed to get more information on it before adding it to the agenda.
Superintendent Jim Amsden stated that it will fall under the equal educational opportunity policy and the courts will ultimately decide how the schools will handle the issue
