Pete Fillippi of Contegrity Group provided Sibley County Board members with three pre-construction phases for courthouse repairs during a meeting on Tuesday morning, Oct. 25.

The three phases would take approximately six months.  The first phase is the schematic design phase where rough sketches and preliminary estimates are prepared.  During the second phase documents are developed in greater detail with updated estimates.  The final phase involves the development of plans and specifications, developing bid categories, developing the construction schedule, and submitting the final estimate.  Fillippi said that they would present to the County Board at the end of each phase.

Fillippi stated that Contegrity would be the county’s advocate and work with architects and engineers from start to finish. Fillippi also reiterated that the vast majority of the $6 million project is mechanical.
