The Arlington City Council, at its recent regular meeting, unanimously adopted a resolution to approve property tax abatement for the Cemstone Relocation Project.

City Council members Michelle Battcher, Jim Heiland, James Jaszewski, Jennifer Nuesse and Galen Wills all voted in favor of the resolution.

The City Council took the action after a public hearing was held on the matter. Shannon Sweeney, a representative from David Drown & Association, made a presentation and answered questions during the public hearing.

Cemstone has proposed to relocate and construct new facilities within the industrial area on the east side of the community. The facilities will  include a 3,360 square foot building and batch plant.
