The Sibley East school building projects have really progressed over the summer months and early fall, according to Sibley East Superintendent Jim Amsden. Construction at both sites has faced some challenges with rain at times throughout the summer.

“As we enter October, the shells of both buildings are nearing completion,” said Amsden. “Roofing is underway and getting the building shells enclosed by the winter season is a priority.”

Amsden said, “Spaces for our band, choir, art and special education classrooms are the next phase to be completed this winter.  By second semester, students and staff  in these classes will be able to move from their temporary spaces to the new and remodeled spaces.”
