The Arlington City Council, during its regular meeting on Monday night, Dec. 5, voted 4-0 and adopted a resolution to order improvements and authorize preparation of plans and specifications for the 2017 Street & Utility Improvement Project.

City Council members Michelle Battcher, Jim Heiland, James Jaszewski and Galen Wills all voted in favor of the resolution.
City Council member Jennifer Nuesse had a prior commitment and was unable to attend the meeting.

The City Council made the move after City Engineer Jason Femrite, Bolton & Menk, Inc., presented information on the project during a public hearing.
