The Sibley East varsity girls basketball team lost its first two games of the season last week.

The Lady Wolverines, 0-1 in the Minnesota River Conference and 0-2 overall, will host Norwood Young America in conference play at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9. Sibley East will also travel to Glencoe-Silver Lake in non-conference action at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 13.

The Sibley East varsity girls basketball team opened its season with a 77-49 loss to visiting New Ulm in non-conference action on Tuesday night, Nov. 29.

 “We knew New Ulm was a huge challenge for our program,” said Sibley East head coach Jim DeSart. “They have two scholarship players with a ton of experience playing year round.”
