The Green Isle City Council, during its regular meeting on Tuesday night, Feb. 14, agreed to interview all six applicants for the open part-time city maintenance position.

Mayor Joe Kreger and City Council member Mark Wentzlaff will interview the applicants and rank each candidate. They will then make a recommendation to the City Council during its next regular meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28.

The position became open when former part-time city maintenance employee Joe Dacey passed away last November.
