The Sibley East varsity wrestling team captured the Section 4A title and will now advance to the Minnesota State Class A Team Wrestling Tournament.

Sibley East accomplished the feat after it posted three wins in the Section 4A Team Tournament at Trinity School at River Ridge on Saturday, Feb. 18.

In the opening round, the Wolverines blanked Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted 79-0.
In the semi-final round, Sibley East toppled Kimball 56-16.
The Wolverines, in the championship round, handled Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City 45-27.

The Wolverines will now wrestle Frazee in the opening round of the Minnesota State Class A Team Tournament at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 2.
