The Sibley East varsity girls softball team was blanked by visiting Mayer Lutheran 12-0 in five innings during a Minnesota River Conference game on Tuesday afternoon, April 11.

Senior Bernice Mendoza and juniors Faith Young, Taylor Perschau and Kiana Montes collected one single each as the Lady Wolverines managed only four hits.

Sophomore Sydney Schott pitched the entire contest and was tagged with the mound loss. The right hander gave up 14 hits and fanned six batters.
