The Sibley East School Board, during its regular monthly meeting in Arlington on Tuesday night, Feb. 20,  voted 5-0 to approve a quote for the plaster wall replacement on the north interior staircase at the Arlington site. The cost will be $30,000.

According to Michael Beach of RA Morton, the plaster is in bad shape, but was not damaged during construction. Beach stated that he only received one quote to fix the plaster at a cost of $30,000.

Beach also provided an update to School Board members on the floor grinding and construction schedule of the Arlington site.  He said GT Coatings was replaced by Concrete Coatings out of New Prague to work on the school floors.
