Gary Glisczinski, age 59, of rural Henderson, passed away at his home on Monday, Feb. 19.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of the Prairie Catholic Church in Belle Plaine at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 23. Father Sam Perez and Father Brian Lynch will officiate.  
Visitation will be held at the church from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 23.
Interment will be in St. John’s Catholic Cemetery in Faxon Township.
Gary was born to Frank and Billie Jo (Menden) Glisczinski in New Prague on Sept. 12, 1958. He was the oldest of five children.  He graduated from the Arlington-Green Isle High School in 1977. Gary was self-employed. On Aug. 10, 1985, Gary was united in marriage to Barbara Fahey at Our lady of the Prairie in Belle Plaine. This marriage was blessed with five children.  
Gary was a member of the St. John’s Assumption Church.  He enjoyed playing broomball, baseball, softball, darts, bingo, cards and spending time with his grandchildren.  His other passion was farming and tending to his cattle.  
Gary is survived by his wife Barb;  children, Brianna Glisczinski (special friend Richard) of Ellsworth, Wis., Britney (Don) Lingl of Willmar, Dan Glisczinski of Henderson,  Katie Glisczinski of Henderson, and Paul Glisczinski (special friend Gabrielle) of Henderson; grandchildren, Alex, Luke, Leah, Skye, Gavin, Lily and Tayson; parents, Frank and Billie Jo Glisczinski of Belle Plaine; siblings, Sue (Gary) Schmitz of Belle Plaine, Laurie (Keith) Pattison of Willmar, Mark Glisczinski of Henderson, and Nancy (Tom) Pexa of Heidelberg; father-in- law and mother-in-law, Bob and Sue Fahey of Belle Plaine; brothers-in-law, Brian (LeAnn) Fahey of Belle Plaine and Steve Fahey of Arden Hills; many nieces; nephews; other relatives; and friends.
Gary was preceded in death by his grandparents; aunts; uncles; and other relatives.
