Emily Safarik, a graduate of Alexandria Area High School, was recently named to the Dean’s List at Concordia University in St. Paul for the fall semester of the 2017-2018 academic year. Emily is majoring in Christian Education and minoring in Music.
As part of the Honors Program at Concordia University, Safarik will be traveling to Costa Rica the end of February to take part in rescuing and saving baby sea turtles which are an endangered species.
Emily is the daughter of James and Deena Safarik, Alexandria, and the granddaughter of Don and Donna Wolter, Arlington.
