The Sibley East varsity boys track team took top honors in a five-team meet at Sleepy Eye on Thursday afternoon, May 10.

The Wolverines captured top honors with 137 team points. Mountain Lake (83), Norwood Young America (48), Sleepy Eye (38) and Cedar Mountain (15) rounded out the field.

First place winners for Sibley East were Logan Tesch (110 meter hurdles 15.38, long jump 18’1 1/4,” triple jump 38’11” and high jump  5’6”), Travis Andrews (1600 meter run 5:00.07 and 800 meter run 2:12.76), Jens Lundstrom (400 meter dash 54.3), Jacob Willmsen (shot put and discus), Sibley East 4 X 200 meter relay team (Devan Kumar, Mason Kranz, Oscar Kreft and Garrett Kroells),  Sibley East 4 X 400 meter relay team (Travis Andrews, Jose Nevarez, Garrett Kroells and Jordan Latzke) and Sibley East 4 X 800 meter relay team (Derek Steele, Micah Scherer, Oscar Kreft and Jose Nevarez).
