Logan Tesch breaks MRC and school record in triple jump

Senior Logan Tesch compiled a pair of first place finishes and one second place finish as the Sibley East varsity boys track team placed fourth in the Minnesota River Conference Boys Track and Field Meet at Belle Plaine on Thursday afternoon, May 17.


Jordan captured top honors with 187 team points while Le Sueur-Henderson placed second with 125 team points. Belle Plaine (107), Sibley East (82), Mayer Lutheran (80), Tri-City United (73) and Norwood Young America (39) rounded out the field.


Logan Tesch broke both the Minnesota River Conference and Sibley East record with a leap of 44’4 3/4” in the triple jump event.
Logan Tesch also captured top honors in the 110 meter hurdles with a time of 16.03 seconds.


He now holds the conference record in both the triple jump event and the 110 meter hurdles.
