The Arlington Greys Base Ball Club captured two games during the Scott-Carver Threshers event at Jordan on Sunday morning, Aug. 5.
Kurt “Flash” Menk served as manager and umpire. Mark “No Show” Pauly served as the assistant manager. Dwight “Ike” Grabitske was the scorekeeper and umpire.
The Arlington Greys Base Ball Club defeated the Mankato Baltics 12-1 during the opening game of the Scott-Carver Threshers event at Jordan on Sunday morning, Aug. 5.
Roger “Preacher” Hoeben collected five singles in the win. Jason “Roy” Thomes clubbed three doubles while Steve “Little Bill” Pioske had two singles and a double. Jeff “Walleye” Schmidt contributed three singles while Jim “Yukon” Kreft recorded two singles. Ricky “Gabby” Schmidt, Scott “Big Daddy” Schmidt and Mike “The Early Bird Gets The” Worm added one single apiece.
