Robert “Bob” James Weber, age 59, of Nicollet passed away at his home on Saturday, Sept. 15.
Funeral service will be held at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Nicollet at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 22. Father Todd Petersen will officiate.
Visitation will be held at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Nicollet from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 22.
A private family burial will occur at a later date.
Robert James Weber was born to Robert and Annabel (Saffert) Weber in New Ulm on March 6, 1959. He graduated from Nicollet Public Schools and began farming with his dad, brothers, and uncle. On Nov. 19, 1988, Bob married the love of his life, Jean Stoltz, in Nicollet. The couple made their home in Owatonna. After moving to Owatonna, Bob worked 25 years at Cybex until his health made it unable for him to work in 2014. Bob loved spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, and watching Twins and Vikings games. A very fond memory Bob had was all the trips to Las Vegas he took with his wife, Jean. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Robert is survived by his stepchildren; Lisa (Tom) Skala of Blooming Prairie, Jason (fiancé Laura Nagel) Sommer of Owatonna, and Lori (Dominic) Kasheimer of Green Isle; step-grandchildren, Jamie Skala, Michael Skala, Darcy (Brady) Kubat all of Blooming Prairie; Ashley Skala (fiancé Brandon Cates) of Owatonna, Gavin and Case Sommer of Owatonna, Mackenzie (fiancé Tyler Borwege) Nagel of West Concord, Gabriella, Annbella, and Marcus Kasheimer of Green Isle, and Jacob Willmen of Duluth; two great-grandsons, Jaxon and Karson Cates of Owatonna; sister, Lois Weber of Mankato; brothers, Tony Weber, Karl (Melody) Weber, and Gary Weber all of Nicollet; two nieces and two nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife in 2015; parents; brother, David Weber; and uncle, Jerome Weber.
