The visiting Sibley East varsity football team lost to Maple River 46-6 on Friday night, Sept. 14.

The Wolverines, who trailed  7-0 early in the second quarter, scored their only touchdown on a 56-yard pass from sophomore quarterback Caleb Dose to senior wide receiver Kameron In.

The run for the two-point conversion was no good, but Sibley East had climbed within 7-6 with 9:57 left in the second frame.
