Six members of the Sibley East varsity girls tennis team competed in the Section 2A Individual Tennis Tournament at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter on Thursday, Oct. 11.

Singles
Sibley East senior Emily Tuchtenhagen defeated Belle Plaine sophomore Kadence Bran de Leon 6-0 and 6-1 in the opening round.
In the next round, Tuchtenhagen lost to Holy Family Catholic sophomore Ally Agerland, who was the top seed, 6-0 and 6-1.

Sibley East junior Brianna Kranz defeated Belle Plaine senior Tatum Ackerman 6-2 and 6-0 in the opening round.
