Sibley East boys basketball team beats Tri-City United, falls to Le Sueur-Henderson and SW Christian

The Sibley East varsity boys basketball team captured one win in three games during the past week.
The Wolverines, 1-4 in the Minnesota River Conference and 2-10 overall, will host Belle Plaine in conference play at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 17. Sibley East will travel to G-F-W in non-conference action at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 21. The Wolverines will also travel to Norwood-Young America in MRC play at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22.

The Sibley East varsity boys basketball team jumped out to a six-point halftime lead and eventually defeated visiting Tri-City United 56-45 in Minnesota River Conference action on Tuesday night, Jan. 8.
Sophomore Caleb Dose and junior Lucas Dose sparked the winners with 17 and 14 points respectively. Junior Tony Bullert tossed in nine points while senior Jens Lundstrom hooped six points. Senior Kameron In netted five points while senior Ty Knacke and junior Lucas Tesch finished with two points apiece. Junior JaBez Bates added one point.
