Sibley East girls basketball team falls to TCU, Glencoe-Silver Lake

The Sibley East varsity girls basketball team dropped a pair of games during the past week.
The Lady Wolverines, 1-7 in the Minnesota River Conference and 5-10 overall, will host Le Sueur-Henderson in conference play at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7. Sibley East will also host Jordan in MRC action at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8.

The visiting Sibley East varsity girls basketball team lost to Tri-City United 86-62 in Minnesota River Conference action on Friday night, Feb. 1.
Junior McKenzie Latzke, who hit six three-pointers, finished with 22 points. Senior Rachel Rettmann also hit double digits with 17 points. Junior Lexy Stock hooped nine points while sophomore Audrey Parrott scored five points. Sophomore Maddi Tuchtenhagen netted three points while junior Lily Beneke and sophomores Gabbi Bates and Ellie Harens hit for two points apiece.
