The Sibley East varsity wrestling team lost to Kimball Area 54-15 during the opening round of the Section 4A Team Tournament at Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted on Friday night, Feb. 15.
Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City defeated Kimball Area 56-10 in the championship later that evening. A-C-GC will now advance to the Minnesota State Class A Team Wrestling Tournament at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul on Thursday, Feb. 28.
The Section 4A Individual Wrestling Tournament will be held at Kimball Area High School at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 23.
