The Arlington City Council held a special meeting last night (Sept. 12) for a new business coming to the community.
The City Council was expected to conduct the first readings of two ordinances and basically amend the Comprehensive Plan and rezone city-owned property from Business - I to Industrial I. The property is located on the northeast corner of Highway 5 and County Road 9 and commonly called the “hotel” property.
The new business, Ninkaski Hops. Inc., is a hydroponics company that plans to develop an indoor growing facility to grow hops for craft breweries.
