Arlington City Council votes 5-0 and accepts bid for the Cemetery Improvement Project

The Arlington City Council, during its regular meeting on Wednesday night, July 5, unanimously adopted a resolution to accept a bid of $90,698 and award a contract to Nielsen Blacktopping, Inc. for the Cemetery Improvement Project.


City Council members Michelle Battcher, Adam Cowell, Tom Hatlestad, Jim Heiland and James Jaszewski all voted in favor of the resolution.


The improvement project includes the reconstruction of the existing roads and the construction of a new south road in the Arlington Public Cemetery.


The engineer’s estimate for the improvement project was $82,145.80.
