The Arlington Economic Development Authority (EDA), during its meeting on Monday night, Jan. 8, unanimously approved a motion and made a recommendation for the City of Arlington to apply for a grant through Compeer Financial. The grant monies, if received, would go toward the cost of a housing study.

The Arlington City Council will act upon the recommendation during its next regular meeting at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 16.

Officers
At the start of the meeting, Dean Bergersen and Kurt Menk took their respective oaths of office as members of the EDA.

The remaining members of the EDA include Dick Thomes, Tim Kloeckl, Larry Sorenson, City Council member Michelle Battcher and City Council member Tom Hatlestad. Amy Newsom is the new director for the Arlington EDA.
