Arlington EDA to promote its central business district facade loan program

The Arlington Economic Development Authority (EDA), during its regular meeting on Monday night, April 9, voted 4-0 and approved a motion to approve a recommendation and keep the central business district as the area for the Arlington Central Business District Facade Loan Program.


The Arlington City Council will act upon the recommendation during its next regular meeting at 6:30 p.m. Monday, April 16.  

Purpose
The Arlington Central Business District Facade Loan Program provides an incentive to stimulate visible investment in Arlington’s Central Business District (Downtown). Property owners are encouraged to consider improvements that incorporate the surrounding community design and atmosphere including but not limited to aesthetics, environment, cultural and historic elements, and architecture.
