City of Arlington purchases new lawn mower

The Arlington City Council, during its regular meeting on Monday night, Feb. 5, unanimously approved a motion to approve the purchase of a 72-inch zero turn mower from Arnold’s, Glencoe, for the Parks Committee. The cost, with the $7,000 trade-in of the 2011 lawn mower, will be $12,300.


The funds for the purchase will come out of the Capital Improvement Project (CIP) fund.


City Council members Michelle Battcher, Adam Cowell, Tom Hatlestad, Jim Heiland and James Jaszewski all voted in support of the motion.
