The Sibley County Board, during its regular meeting on Tuesday morning, Nov. 27, received a request from Sibley County Fair Board member Keith Herd that the Sibley County Fair receive $25,000 a year for three years.  

According to County Administrator Roxy Traxler, that is $1,980 per year increase from their current allocation.  Herd presented the County Board with a profit and loss statement from the fair showing a $2,927.95 non-fair profit and a 1,117.97 fair loss.  

County Commissioner Gary Kruggel asked about the bull riding event.  Herd said most of that money goes directly to Jared Allen’s Wounded Warriors.
