Eleanore M. Schauer, 91, Arlington

Eleanore M. Schauer, age 91, of Arlington, passed away at the Good Samaritan Society in Arlington on Friday, Aug. 31.
Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Arlington at 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 3.  Father Aaron Johanneck officiated the services.
Visitation was held at the Kolden Funeral Home in Arlington from noon to 1:45 p.m. Monday, Sept. 3.
Burial was in St. Mary’s Catholic Church Cemetery. Lunch followed at the church social hall.  
Eleanore was born to Matthew and Katherine (Bertrang) Haggenmiller in Arlington Township on Oct. 24, 1926. She attended Arlington Schools and graduated from the Arlington High School.  She married Ed Adelmann at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in 1953.  They lived in the Minneapolis area and she worked for Canada Dry Bottling Company  Ed passed away in 1956. She married Alfred “Sonny” Schauer at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Winthrop on Oct. 24, 1959. Eleanore worked for H.M. Noack Locker Plant in Arlington, before raising her family in Arlington.  She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, St. Mary’s C.C.W,  Arlington Home Extension and Hospital Auxiliary.   Eleanore also enjoyed needlework and crocheting.     
She is survived by her children, Mary (Stewart) Skrove of Jackson,  David (Lorie) Schauer of Winthrop, Carol (Keven) Kezar of Atkin,  and Sara (Donald) Quiram of Waterville; 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; brother, Ray (Barb) Haggenmiller of Arlington; brother-in-law, Gordon Schauer of Sheboygan, Wis.; and sister-in-law, Edythe Haggenmiller of Arlington.  
She is preceded in death by her husbands, Ed Adelmann in 1956 and Alfred Schauer in 1995; grandson, Douglas Kezar; sister, Eileen Morrisette; brother, Ambrose Haggenmiller.  in-laws; Marion Schauer, Jim Morrisette, Gladys (Alvin) Abraham and Joan (Willie) Wonenberg.
