Jennifer M. Heibel, MMS ’15, PA-C of Arlington has been awarded the Physician Assistant of the Year Award for 2018, presented by the Salus University Alumni Association.

 
She is a member of the palliative medicine team at the Mayo Clinic Health System (MCHS) in Mankato, Minn.  As a palliative medicine provider, her goal is to ensure that her patients are not viewed as their conditions but as  unique individuals.  Heibel graduated with high honors from the University’s Physician Assistant Studies program. In her position at MCHS, she also provides education on disease as well as the trajectory of medical conditions which allows her patients to make informed decisions regarding their medical care.
