There will be primaries for three Sibley County commissioner seats as the filing period closed at 5 p.m. Tuesday, June 5.

In the First District, former County Commissioner Jim Nytes filed the first week while incumbent County Commissioner Bobbie Harder and candidate James “Rosey” Rosenthal filed during the past week.
